Stef Martin joins the Bulldogs’ coaching ranks as a development coach for season 2023.

The move comes after Martin announced his playing retirement in October last year, following a career spanning 203 games – 57 with Melbourne, 133 for the Brisbane Lions and 13 for the Bulldogs.

He will work closely with Brendon Lade (midfield) and Marc Webb (stoppages), while providing valuable tuition to young rucks Tim English, Jordon Sweet and Sam Darcy, and offering additional support to the wider coaching group.

Martin will also hold an active role with Footscray in the VFL, where he will be assistant coach (midfield) on game day.
