Travis Varcoe first joined the Bulldogs as a development coach in 2021, after calling time on his AFL playing career at the end of 2020.

Varcoe played 230 games across 15 seasons with Geelong and Collingwood, including two premierships with the Cats in 2009 and 2011.

He made the immediate transition into coaching, and in 2023 will continue to work with development manager Jamie Maddocks to help guide the Bulldogs’ emerging talent.

Varcoe’s role also includes acting as a mentor to Indigenous youngster Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, while being involved in the Club’s Reconciliation Action Plan and VFL program.
