The AFL Players’ Association is proud to unveil its 2026 Indigenous Player Map, showcasing and celebrating the cultural diversity across the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander playing group.
For more than 20 years, the Indigenous Player Map has been updated annually to include all current AFL and AFLW players and released ahead of Sir Doug Nicholls Round and National Reconciliation Week.
This year’s edition features 65 language groups of 64 AFL and 21 AFLW players.
Since its inception, more than 360 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players have been featured on the map, representing more than 140 language groups.
