Clearance specialist Tom Liberatore was voted as the most influential player in Sunday’s Elimination Final, in the eyes of the two coaches.

Liberatore scored seven votes in the Gary Ayres Medal (awarded to the best player in the Finals according to the coaches), for his 35 disposal, seven tackle, seven clearance performance in the 49-point win over Essendon.

Fellow midfielders Jack Macrae (six votes) and Marcus Bontempelli (five) also impressed the coaches, with livewire forward Cody Weightman scoring five votes for his four-goal game.

Two players scored the perfect 10 votes in the first week of the Finals – Melbourne’s Clayton Oliver and Sydney’s Isaac Heeney.
