The annual AFLW Pride Game is always special – particularly when you’ve just notched up your first win at home in over 700 days.
That was the case for the AFLW Bulldogs earlier this year, recording a come-from-behind victory over Carlton at VU Whitten Oval.
Down by 10 points at the start of the last, two goals from captain Ellie Blackburn swung momentum in the Dogs’ favour, holding onto a six-point triumph despite the Blue’s late efforts.
Western Bulldogs vs West Coast, Round 16, 2020
The Bulldogs and Eagles have played in some thrilling finishes over the last few years.
But rather than revisiting the round two clash from earlier this year (which we also recommend), we’re going back to 2020 at Metricon Stadium.

Away from home, against a side that finished fourth on the ladder, it was the seventh-placed Bulldogs who pulled off a miraculous and gutsy win to book a spot in the 2016 Grand Final.
