Sam Darcy will make his red, white and blue debut in this weekend’s VFL double-header against Collingwood.

Darcy, 18, was selected with pick two in last year’s draft, with the Bulldogs matching GWS’ bid for the father-son prospect.

He is one of 10 senior-listed Bulldogs that have been named for Footscray’s round eight clash, alongside fellow class of 2021 draftees Charlie Parker, Cody Raak and Arthur Jones.

Jones, Hayden Crozier, Roarke Smith and Josh Schache have been included, with the four also named as emergencies for the Bulldogs’ AFL match tonight.

One will be confirmed as the medical substitute at 6.50pm.

Captain Lachie Sullivan will be looking to continue his hot start to the season, while Angus Bade will again be the 23rd player.

The match will begin at 2.05pm at the AIA Centre on Saturday afternoon, with the VFLW Bulldogs and Pies to do battle from 10am.

The game will be live-streamed via afl.com.au and the Official AFL app, with quarter-by-quarter score updates available via @FootscrayVFL on Twitter
