The Western Bulldogs have made one change ahead of their Sir Doug Nicholls Round clash in Ballarat against the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday afternoon.

Tim O’Brien returns to the side after missing just one match with a calf complaint.

It will be the first time O’Brien, Alex Keath and Ryan Gardner all line up in the defensive half of the ground for the red, white and blue.

Veteran Taylor Duryea will miss the match due to illness.

Adam Treloar will play his 200th AFL match against the Suns at Mars Stadium after playing 79 matches for GWS, 94 for the Pies and currently 26 with the Bulldogs.

It will be the second time this season that the Bulldogs host in Ballarat, falling by one point to the Crows in Round 6.

The emergencies are Hayden Crozier, Josh Schache, Louis Butler and Roarke Smith.

A player will be confirmed as the medical sub an hour before the first bounce.

Fox Footy will broadcast the game live.
