AFLW indicative draft order: May 31

The Western Bulldogs will have pick 24 as their first selection at next month’s AFLW draft, pending any deals during this week’s Sign and Trade Period.

The Western Bulldogs will have national pick 24 (Victorian pick 12) as their first selection at next month’s AFLW draft, pending any deals during this week’s Sign and Trade Period.

As of May 31, the Bulldogs’ next pick will then come in the third round with pick 56 (Victorian pick 29), and then in round four with pick 72 (Victorian pick 38).

The first round will run to 36 selections, with a number of teams forfeiting their first-rounder after not losing the requisite points value to expansion clubs.

The Bulldogs saw a trio of players in Bonnie Toogood (Essendon), Ellyse Gamble (Essendon) and Brooke Lochland (Sydney) depart for expansion sides this past week.

The final draft order will be determined after the Sign and Trade period, which opens at 2pm today and closes next Wednesday, with the 2022 NAB AFLW Draft to be held on Wednesday 29 June.
