Western Bulldogs forward Aaron Naughton will be tested this week after jarring his knee in last Friday night’s loss to Sydney.

The 22-year-old landed awkwardly in a marking contest during the second quarter, but played out the match.

“He has been expectedly sore, but is starting to show some signs of improvement,” Head of Sports Medicine, Chris Bell, said.

“We will work through a process with Aaron and determine his availability after our main training session on Wednesday.

Utility Anthony Scott will be unavailable for selection against St Kilda, after being subbed out of the Swans’ match with concussion.

In the VFL, defender Hayden Crozier sustained an ankle injury in the opening quarter.

“Hayden landed on an opposition’s boot which caused him to sprain his ankle,” Bell said.

“Scans have confirmed that he does have a moderate-grade ligament injury, but has been cleared of any serious bone damage.

“He will now go into a CAM boot (moon boot) and will be assessed in the next 1-2 weeks to determine his timeframe.”

In positive injury news, first-year Bulldog Charlie Parker has overcome a hamstring complaint.

The 24-year-old has integrated back into full training and will return to availability this week.
