Josh Dunkley has polled six votes in the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award, following his standout performance on Saturday afternoon against Fremantle.

The 25-year-old was the sole Bulldog to poll, after registering 33 disposals, four tackles, six clearances and five intercepts.

He also slotted a goal and had 10 score involvements.

Docker Rory Lobb received the maximum 10 votes.

Round 22 and 23 voting for the 2022 AFL Coaches Association Champion Player of the Year Award will not be released until the announcement of the winner on Wednesday 24th August at the 2022 AFL Awards Night.
