The Western Bulldogs have boosted their draft hand for next season, facilitating a trade for Josh Schache with Melbourne.

The Bulldogs received the Demons’ future fourth-round selection in exchange for the out-of-contract Schache.

Schache played five seasons in the red, white and blue, managing 45 games and kicking 53 goals.

Bulldogs General Manager of List & Recruiting, Sam Power, thanked Schache for his contribution to the Bulldogs.

“Josh has been a much-loved member of the Bulldogs since joining us in 2018,” Power said.

“He has made a great contribution to the club, both on and off the field, and we wish him all the best in his next chapter at the Demons.”
