AFLW young guns Katie Lynch and Eleanor Brown have been named in the Season Seven 22under22 team.

It is a third inclusion for Brown, and a maiden selection for Lynch.

Lynch enjoyed a career-best season, averaging 14 disposals, six intercepts and five marks across 11 games.

The 22-year-old finished second across the competition for total marks (56), while leading the Club for intercept possessions (64).

She was the fifth most popular player, selected in 75.57% of fan-voted teams to be named at full-back.

Brown backed up her runner-up placing in the season six Bulldogs’ best and fairest count, averaging 10 disposals, three tackles and five contested marks from 10 games.

The 22-year-old started the season in her customary backline position, before being moved into the midfield during the second half of the campaign.

Brown was selected on the interchange, and is now one of six players to have made the 22under22 team on three occasions.

The 22under22 is a fan-voted concept that recognises the best 22 AFLW players aged 22 and under for the entirety of the season.
