Almost 2000 fans flocked to Skinner Reserve on Friday morning to witness their Bulldog heroes in action during an Open Session.

The players took part in some light drills, followed by a solid one-hour match simulation hit out, with plenty of youngsters showcasing their skills in front of the adoring fans.

Once the session completed, all players made their way around the boundary line – meeting and greeting fans, signing autographs and taking photos with members.

Kids were all smiles as they packed the fence to chant their favourite players name, getting a glimpse of the stars.

Marcus Bontempelli and Tom Liberatore were again the fan favourites, followed by the rising star Sam Darcy.

“It’s been awesome having the fans here,” Taylor Duryea told westernbulldogs.com.au

“It has almost felt like a true pre-season game, sort of like the Community Series with so many people here.”

“We’re very fortunate to have people come out and supporting us at training.”

“It makes it more enjoyable.”
