The strong and enduring partnership the Western Bulldogs have forged with its Major Partner Mission Foods will continue for a further five years, it was announced today.

Mission and the Bulldogs, who have worked hand-in-hand since 2009, will reach 20 years together by 2028, at the completion of the extended partnership arrangement.

It will be the Bulldogs’ longest continuous major partner sponsorship in the Club’s history.

The world-renowned Mission brand has become synonymous with the red, white and blue, and the union between the two organisations is seen as one of the most successful in the AFL competition.

The Mission Foods logo has proudly adorned the front of the Western Bulldogs’ AFL guernsey, worn by some of the Club’s all-time greats over the last 15 years.

“Mission Foods is proud to be a continuing member of the Western Bulldogs family,” said Mr Juan Gonzalez, CEO and President of Mission Foods.

“We decided to partner with the Western Bulldogs back in 2009 due to their rich history and strong community positioning, this partnership has only strengthened over the last 15 years and will continue to be bound by our commitment to family and community.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the future with the Western Bulldogs and look forward to what the next five years will bring.”

Mission Foods is one of the world’s largest tortilla, flatbread and corn flour producers and is engaged primarily in the production, marketing, distribution and sale of tortillas, tacos, corn chips, wraps, flatbreads, corn and wheat flour.

“The extension of our successful and enduring partnership with Mission Foods means the world to our club and community,” said Bulldogs’ President Kylie Watson-Wheeler.

“We’re grateful to Juan Gonzalez and his team for their unrelenting commitment to the red, white and blue since 2009.  Our partnership has never skipped a beat.  It’s our shared values, passion and pride that makes the sponsorship one of the most envied in the AFL competition.

“As we head towards a momentous 20-year milestone, the Mission logo will proudly adorn our team’s guernseys and remain at the heart of the Club.  We’re excited for the many ways our partnership will be brought to life over the next five years.”
