Western Bulldogs defender Lauren Ahrens will miss the remainder of the 2024 NAB AFLW Season with a foot injury.

Scans have confirmed a stress reaction injury, which will see her enter a rehab model and subsequently rule her out of a return this season.

Ahrens joins Mua Laloifi, Jorja Borg, Ellie Blackburn and Keely Coyne on the long-term injury list.

Elle Bennetts (calf) will need to pass a fitness test before her availability for Friday night’s Pride Round against Essendon can be confirmed.
