Western Bulldogs midfielder Ed Richards has become the clubhouse leader in the 2025 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.
Richards polled five votes in the loss to Geelong after recording 28 disposals, seven tackles, 10 clearances and two goals.
This brings his overall tally to 41 votes – leapfrogging vice-captain Tom Liberatore (38 votes).
Recruit Matt Kennedy was the only other Dog to poll on the night, earning four votes for his 25-disposal, seven-mark and three-goal performance.
Crow Jordan Dawson is the outright leader with 54 votes after 11 rounds.
