The Western Bulldogs have fallen to the reigning premier in a cold and windy Friday night clash.
North Melbourne Werribee was too strong for the injury-depleted Dogs, registering a 62-point win.
While the result did not go the hosts' way, several standout individual performances shone through.
Zara Hamilton (28 disposals) and Jaimi Tabb (12 tackles, six clearances) led the midfield, with Jorja Livingstone adding 20 touches and seven tackles.
Imogen Milford, Sarah Sansonetti and Mali McLeod integrated well through the middle, while Paula Pavic and Ciaralli Parnell added endeavour with 14 tackles and 11 clearances combined.
Down back, Chelsea McDermott, Maggie Styles and Renee Saulitis fought under pressure.
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back when they head to IKON Park to clash with Carlton on Saturday 12 July.
