As the Bulldogs celebrate their Cultural Heritage Round, Fox Footy will be providing alternate Hindi commentary and graphics for tonight’s crunch match against the Giants at Marvel Stadium.

The voices of Rajbir Ghuman and Harbir Singh Kang will bring the match to life for Hindi-speaking audiences, with key on-screen graphics also adjusted to the language.

The commentators bring extensive experience, having previously called matches on the National Ethnic & Multicultural Broadcasters Council radio channels and having become devout AFL fans since moving to Australia.

It’s estimated that up to 140,000 people in Victoria’s west have Indian ancestry and this initiative will make the game more accessible than ever to the Bulldogs faithful.

The dedicated feed will be available to all Kayo Sports subscribers as part of their existing subscription and will also be available on Foxtel channel 507.

In Round 22, an alternate feed will be produced for Mandarin-speaking audiences of the Brisbane Lions and Sydney Swans’ (Saturday, August 9) Grand Final rematch.

Both matches form part of the AFL’s Cultural Heritage Series, which celebrates the heritage of every fan, player, coach and administrator within the game. A further two AFLW matches this season will also be broadcast via alternate language feeds, with fixtures to be confirmed.
