Western Bulldogs midfielder Ed Richards has moved into the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Top 10 after a best-on-ground outing against Melbourne.

Richards polled a perfect score following his 31 disposals, 14 clearances and two goals in Sunday’s six-point win over the Dees, moving him into equal-10thoverall.

Aaron Naughton was next best, earning seven votes for a five-goal, 17-diposal and seven-mark performance, while Marcus Bontempelli (four votes) continues to creep up the leaderboard after his game-high 33 disposals and seven clearances.

Tom Liberatore (two votes) and Bailey Dale (one vote) rounded out the Dogs’ vote-getters.

Gold Coast’s Noah Anderson leads the way with 93 total votes.

Round 23 and 24 voting for the 2025 Sharp EIT Solutions AFLCA AFL Champion Player of the Year Award will not be released until the announcement of the winner which will be made at the 2025 AFL Awards, live on Fox Footy from 7.30pm on Thursday 28th August.
