Western Bulldogs draftees Emma McDonald and Sarah Poustie will make their AFLW debuts this Saturday night against Melbourne.

The pair were picked up in the most recent AFLW draft, with McDonald at Pick 8 and Poustie at Pick 25.

McDonald is a talented forward with strong aerial abilities, who impressed with a three-goal haul in the pre-season match simulation against North Melbourne.

The remainder of the AFLW Round 1 team will be announced at 6:20pm on Thursday night.

The first bounce will be at 7:35pm AEST on Saturday at Mission Whitten Oval.
