Western Bulldogs young gun Sam Darcy has been named in the AFLPA 22under22 team for 2025.
Darcy, 22, was the most popular player to be voted into the side, finding himself in 97% of fan-submitted teams.
He has been named in the ruck.
It has been an impressive campaign-to-date for Darcy, who despite missing six games through injury, currently sits eighth for goals kicked and second for contested marks across the league.
It also marks back-to-back selections, having been selected in the half-forward line in last year’s team.
For a player to be eligible for selection, they must be 22 and under for the entirety of the season (including Grand Final Day, 27 September) and have played a minimum of 12 games in 2025.
The AFLPA is proud to partner with Intrepid Travel as the major partner of the 22Under22 competition.
