Western Bulldogs defender Sarah Sansonetti has been named in the 2025 rebel VFLW Team of the Year squad.
This year marked Sansonetti’s first in the red, white and blue following six seasons at AFLW level with Richmond and Collingwood.
She finished runner-up in this year’s Club Champion count, averaging 14.2 disposals, 4.5 marks and 3.2 tackles from all 14 games.

Sansonetti is the Bulldogs’ sole representative in the 30-player squad, which will be trimmed to a team of 21 at the 2025 VFL/W Awards next Monday 15 September.
The VFLW Bulldogs finished ninth on the ladder this season with five wins.
