AFLW Bulldogs Analea McKee and Brit Gutknecht have signed on for the 2026 NAB AFLW Season.

Gutknecht has played every match of the 2025 season to date, averaging 16.5 disposals, three tackles and two marks, while McKee’s best outing in the red, white and blue came against Carlton in Week 8 last season with 10 disposals, three tackles and a goal.

“We’re thrilled to reward Brit and Analea with an extension. They put in a lot of work over the off-season and as young players show plenty of promise for the future,” AFLW List Manager Dan Fisher said.

“After playing every game last season for the first time in her career, Brit’s adapted really well to her new role as a high defender. Her cleanliness and kicking ability serve an important function in our back five, currently in the top 10 across the league for kicking efficiency (with more than 50 kicks).

“It’s a credit to Tam for identifying her traits being transferrable to a new role and to Brit for making that transition so seamless.

“Analea had a huge off-season and made significant progress with her running, allowing her to utilise strength and contested marking which are her main weapons. We’re looking forward to watching her continued development over the rest of this season and beyond.”

Gutknecht arrived at the Kennel with Pick 48 in the 2019 National Draft and has played 39 games to date, while McKee was acquired via a trade with Brisbane in 2023.

The Bulldogs will host Collingwood at Mission Whitten Oval this Friday night on Grand Final Eve.
