The Western Bulldogs have made one change for Sunday afternoon’s Pride Round clash with Gold Coast in Mackay.
Brooke Barwick will replace Jasmyn Smith in the line-up, who will be sidelined for the rest of the season with a throat injury.
Deanna Berry, Keeley Hardingham and Kristie-Lee Weston-Turner will be the emergencies.
The clash will mark Alice Edmonds’ 50th in the red, white and blue, just six weeks after the dominant ruck celebrated her AFLW half-century.
In the Dogs and Suns last encounter, a final-quarter surge at Heritage Bank Stadium wasn’t enough for the visitors who fell four points short in Round 4 of the 2023 season.
The Dogs will again wear their 2025 Pride guernseys for the occasion, which have been designed by Bibbulmun Noongar and Latino transgender LGBTQIA+ contemporary artist Jay Kulbardi (he/they).
The design centres around ‘fluidity’ and water, with Ballarat’s Lake Wendouree forming part of the inspiration.
The exclusive Pride Range, including the guernsey, is available for purchase at the Bulldogs Shop, while the match-worn guernseys will be auctioned off.
The first bounce will be at 5:05pm AEDT on Sunday at Great Barrier Reef Arena, with the game to be broadcast live on Fox Footy/Kayo.
