A trio of Western Bulldogs young guns have been named in the 2025 AFLW 22Under22 squad.

Emma McDonald, Elaine Grigg and Rylie Wilcox have all been included in the 44-player squad for the first time in their respective careers.

McDonald, 19, has impressed in her debut AFLW season, averaging 7.8 disposals and three marks.

She has booted nine goals from 10 games and was recently nominated for the Telstra AFLW Rising Star award. 

Grigg, 19, continues to excite with her tackling and closing speed, averaging 11.3 disposals and 5.8 tackles this season. 

Wilcox, 20, has been one of the Dogs’ most consistent performers in 2025, averaging 14.1 disposals, 3.3 tackles and 234.8 metres gained.

She has also kicked five goals playing predominantly on the wing. 

The fan-voted concept, presented by Intrepid, recognises the best 22 players aged 22 and under for the entirety of the AFLW season.

For a player to be eligible for the squad of 44, they are required to play a minimum of five games of the home and away season.

Voting is open now until 11:59pm AEDT on Thursday 6 November, with the final team to be announced via the AFL Players’ Association social media channels on Wednesday 12 November.
