This Saturday will see a very special cinematic celebration of the Bulldogs take place at the Sun Theatre in Yarraville.

Three critically acclaimed films from different eras of the Club's modern history will be screened at the iconic cinema, with panels featuring Club legends in between, making it a must for any Bulldogs fan.

First up - in a rare 35mm screening - is Year of the Dogs, a chronicle of the turbulent 1996 season of the then Footscray Football Club.

The film became a renowned cult classic thanks to the never previously seen access to every part of the Club, and features plenty of famous moments, especially coach Terry Wallace's impassioned post-match address after a loss to Collingwood which has become legend.

After an interval, attendees will be treated to a cinema screening of the recently produced documentary short DOGMA, which provides a wonderful summary of the Club's history while also profiling three of its highest profile fans, including Irene Chatfield.

Later, Bob Murphy will join ace producer Adi Brown to discuss Outsiders, Brown's documentary that captured the famous 2016 campaign with incredible behind the scenes access, before that film is also screened in its entirety.

The all-day celebration of the Doggies on film will also provide the chance to purchase some gifts for the Bulldogs fan in your life ahead of Christmas.

Whether you've seen the films before or not, this event will be a unique opportunity to see them in the best possible setting, surrounded by fellow followers of the red, white and blue.
