Western Bulldogs defensive duo Elle Bennetts and Lauren Ahrens have signed on for the 2026 NAB AFLW season.
Bennetts, 36, showed no signs of slowing down this campaign, with her best outing against Hawthorn in Round 3 with 23 disposals, five marks and four tackles.
Ahrens, 34, also featured in every match this year, providing over 60 games of experience to the Dogs’ back-half.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Elle and Loz return for 2026,” AFLW List Manager Dan Fisher said.
“Elle is a respected member of our leadership group and is still performing at a high level, finishing Top 10 in our 2025 Best & Fairest.
"Her composure and class by foot were an important part of our back five this year and we look forward to that continuing into 2026.
“Loz took her game to another level this year and was a rock in a defensive unit that conceded the third fewest points in the league.
"She provides great stability, is a tough competitor and was a positive influence on her developing teammates this year.”
Bennetts and Ahrens join Brooke Barwick in re-signing at the Kennel this week.
