The big man is heading home.
Ruck Tim English is the latest Western Bulldogs player to be named as part of the AFL's upcoming AAMI AFL Origin game.
English will join fellow West Australians Aaron Naughton and Rory Lobb when he pulls on the 'Black Swan' on Saturday 14 February.
The 206cm Dog will form part of a three-pronged ruck brigade alongside Collingwood's Darcy Cameron and Fremantle's Luke Jackson.
English is the sixth Dog to be announced as part of the revived game with Ed Richards, Sam Darcy and Marcus Bontempelli all pulling on the Big V when the two teams do battle at Optus Stadium in Perth.
Marcus Bontempelli was confirmed as Victoria's Captain late last month, joining the likes of the great EJ Whitten and Charles Sutton as the other Dogs' to captain the state.
The 2026 AAMI AFL Origin match will be broadcast on Seven Network and Foxtel, as well as 7plus and Kayo streaming platforms, spotlighting Perth and its world-class sporting facilities to the rest of the nation.
The match will begin at 4.40pm AWST / 7.40pm AEDT. For more information, head to Origin.AFL
