The Western Bulldogs have enjoyed a clean sweep of the Round 1 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year votes. 

Marcus Bontempelli was the clear standout for coaches Luke Beveridge and Adam Kingsley, polling a perfect 10 votes for his 33-disposal, 11-inside 50 and three-goal performance.

Aaron Naughton earned eight votes for his six goals, 15 disposals and 11 marks, while Tom Liberatore polled six votes for 29 disposals, seven marks, six tackles, six clearances and a goal.
