A quintet of Western Bulldogs have polled in the Round 2 AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award votes.

Marcus Bontempelli has continued his strong start to the 2026 AFL Season, polling nine votes in the thrilling Friday night clash.

The skipper amassed 30 disposals, seven clearances, six tackles and one goal, leading the Club to its first win over the Adelaide Crows in South Australia since Round 19, 2010.

It sees him move into second on the overall leaderboard (19 votes), trailing Gold Coast's Christian Petracca by a single vote.

Joel Freijah (eight votes), Bailey Williams (five), Buku Khamis (two) and Tom Liberatore (two) rounded out the Dogs' vote-getters.
