Newest Bulldog Will Lewis has polled 10 Smithy's VFL Coaches' votes in Footscray's Round 1 victory over the Casey Demons.

Fresh off an AFL debut after joining the Kennel during the pre-season supplementary selection period, Lewis starred in his return to VFL, registering six goals, six marks and 13 disposals.

Fellow AFL-listed Bulldogs Adam Treloar (five votes), Josh Dolan (four), Nick Coffield (three), and Lachy McNeil (three) also impressed the coaches in the Club's 43-point victory over the Demons.

The 'Scray join their AFL counterparts in a bye round this weekend, and will face Essendon's VFL team in an Easter Sunday afternoon clash at Mission Whitten Oval.
