Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli and fellow midfielder Matt Kennedy have been deemed equal best-on-ground by the coaches, following the 34-point victory over Essendon on Easter Sunday.

Bontempelli (35 disposals, eight marks, seven clearances, one goal) and Kennedy (36 diposals, 11 clearances, one goal) received nine AFLCA Champion Player of the Year Award apiece for their dominant performances in the midfield.
