Louis Emmett will become the Western Bulldogs’ fourth debutant of the season this Saturday night.
The 19-year-old ruck-forward has been selected to play against Hawthorn, becoming the Dogs’ first 2025 draftee to make his league debut.
Emmett arrived at the Kennel with Pick 27 from the Oakleigh Chargers, standing just shy of 200cm with strong aerial abilities and clean hands.
He booted three goals from 23 disposals and eight marks in the VFL last weekend, after a 17-disposal and five-mark outing in Round 1 against Casey.
Emmett was told of the news during Thursday morning’s team meeting.
