The Western Bulldogs have made five changes ahead of their clash with Sydney on Thursday night at Marvel Stadium.

The game will acknowledge the 10-year anniversary of the Bulldogs' 2016 premiership-winning season.

Defensive duo Ryan Gardner and Jedd Busslinger come into the side in place of injured pair Rory Lobb and James O’Donnell.

Adam Treloar returns for his first game of the 2026 campaign, selected after having 41 touches in the VFL last week.

As announced earlier in the week, Lachie Smith will make his debut in the ruck, while Josh Dolan comes back into the side after his three-goal outing in the VFL.

Sam Darcy and Tom Liberatore will miss due to injury, while Jordan Croft has been omitted.

With the Club celebrating the premiership reunion, a special on-ground ceremony will take place prior to the Bulldogs running onto the ground.

The majority of the 2016 premiership winning team will be in attendance, including current-day players and coaches.

The match will begin at 7.30pm AEST and be broadcast live on Channel 7 and Fox Footy.
