Western Bulldogs captain Marcus Bontempelli has moved back into the Top 3 of the AFLCA Champion Player of the Year award.
Bontempelli was the only Bulldog to poll in Thursday night’s defeat, earning eight votes from coaches Luke Beveridge and Dean Cox.
He finished the night with 29 disposals, six clearances, 547 metres gained and two goals.
He now sits third overall with 36 votes, behind joint leaders Zak Butters and Nick Daicos (48 votes each).
