GETTING TO THE MCG

Arrive Early

Security measures such as bag checks and patron scanning will again be in place as fans make their way into the stadium.

This process will take time, so please be patient - and limit the number of bags you bring. Each bag will be inspected, so the more bags you bring the longer it will take.

It is recommended that fans arrive early, as those who arrive later may miss the teams run out and/or the start of the match.

Public Transport

There are two train stations close to the MCG - Richmond Station and Jolimont Station.

Construction works across the metropolitan and regional train network may affect train travel to this match.

Check PTV's website or app, using Journey Planner for details of possible disruptions. Allow at least 30 minutes extra travel time on impacted lines.

Metro will run additional services across various lines, along with bus replacements and additional Yarra Trams services.

Parking

Car parking is usually available at the MCG in Yarra Park on event days. This land is controlled by Melbourne Cricket Club and managed on event days by Care Park.

Parking currently costs $10 per car.

Entrances to the car park will open at the following time:
Gate 3: 10.30am
Gate 5: 1.30pm
Gate 6: 12.30pm
Gate 7: CLOSED
