The Western Bulldogs will be looking to secure the services of key position players Alex Keath and Josh Bruce during the Telstra AFL Trade Period.

Every team was in attendance at Marvel Stadium today, as the trade period officially began.

Keath, the 27-year-old Adelaide Crows defender, is out of contract and has nominated the Bulldogs as his preferred destination. Bruce has a year to run on his contract with St Kilda, but the 27-year-old forward has also indicated he wants to move to the Kennel.

“We’ve identified some key position players as really adding to our group,” Bulldogs’ general manager of list and recruiting Sam Power told media.

“We’ll work through those conversations over the next week.

“Josh and Alex are the ones who’ve indicated they want to come to us, and they’re the priorities to work through.”
