The Western Bulldogs have suffered an 83-point loss to Collingwood in Round 3 of the 2026 VFLW season.

A difficult opening term set the tone for the afternoon, as the Bulldogs struggled to score in the 0.2 (2) to 13.7 (85) defeat.

The hosts were challenged from the first bounce, with Collingwood making the most of an early opportunity, kicking five goals in the first quarter despite windy conditions.

As the game wore on, the Bulldogs worked hard to create forward-50 entries but just couldn’t get through the Pies’ defence.

Ellie Bishop finished on top for the Bulldogs’ stats with 20 disposals and an impressive 12 tackles.

Steph Asciak collected 18 disposals, while Freya Taylor produced a lucky number six with six tackles and six contested possessions.

The Bulldogs will be back on the road next weekend to take on the Darebin Falcons at Preston City Oval.
