The Western Bulldogs will again celebrate Retro Round this season, set to wear a 2003-inspired ASICS guernsey for the Round 14 clash with Adelaide at Marvel Stadium.

The original design, which was worn throughout the 1935 season, saw the Club move away from its traditional red and white hoops on a blue background to a jumper featuring vertical red and blue stripes with white outlines.

Unfortunately, the 1935 guernseys were accidentally shrunk at the dry cleaners in a routine end-of-season laundry service and never worn again.

In 2003, the Bulldogs reprised the design for its Heritage Round match against Essendon, with that version inspiring this 2026 iteration.

The iconic ‘Robodog’ logo returns to the front of the guernsey, while the ‘Stickman’ locker tag has been recalled for the first time since 2013. 

The 2026 ASICS retro guernsey, along with a 1935-inspired woolen guernsey can be purchased via the Bulldogs Shop as part of an exclusive Retro Range. 

Everyone that purchases a 2026 ASICS retro guernsey before 9am on Tuesday June 9 will go in a draw to win one of six double passes to the ASICS corporate suite at the Adelaide game on Thursday night.*

The match-worn guernseys will also be auctioned off on the Bulldogs Shop website.
