Western Bulldogs midfielder Matt Kennedy has been cleared by the AFL's match review officer following an incident involving Sydney’s Caiden Cleary on Friday.

Kennedy clashed with the forward during an incident in the second quarter and pleaded guilty to the charge, but the impact has been downgraded to low.

The original one-match ban has been downgraded to a $2,000 fine.

Kennedy is now free to face the West Coast Eagles on Sunday afternoon.
