The Western Bulldogs are excited to welcome The Underdogs as the curtain-raiser for their Member Thank You Round clash with North Melbourne on Thursday 6 August.
A much loved-initiative from The Fox’s Fifi, Fev and Nick, The Underdogs is a team designed to give children who have felt excluded from sport the chance to experience what it’s like to truly belong.
Now entering its third AFL edition, children who have experienced illness, bullying or hardship will have the opportunity to run onto Marvel Stadium as part of their own team.
“This is a team for every child who’s been left out, overlooked, underestimated, sidelined by bullying, scared or fearful of rejection,” Fifi Box said on air this morning.
“We want your kids to feel loved…we know how much an event like this can change their lives.”
