Western Bulldogs midfielder Dom Carruthers has signed a one-year contract extension to remain at Mission Whitten Oval for the 2027 NAB AFLW season.
Carruthers first joined the Kennel during the 2023 Supplementary Draft, and has missed only two matches since debuting in Round 1 that same year.
A hard-working mid-forward with great running capacity, she averaged 11 disposals, four tackles and two clearances in 2025.
“Dom’s versatility to play any role gives the coaches so many options as an inside mid, winger or high forward,” AFLW List Manager Dan Fisher said.
“She’s established herself as a regular member of our team after taking up footy in 2017 in Sydney off the back of AFLW coming into existence - her story is a great one for the growth of the women’s game.
“We love her competitiveness and she's one of the best runners at the Club. By demanding so much of herself she lifts those around her.”
Carruthers joins Britney Gutknecht (2027) and Isabella Grant (2028) on the list of players who have recently re-committed to the Club.
The Bulldogs will open their 2026 campaign against Gold Coast at People First Stadium on Saturday 15 August.
