The Western Bulldogs are thrilled to announce a new partnership with Catholic Regional College (CRC) North Keilor and CRC Sydenham, marking the launch of the Club’s Performance School program.
CRC North Keilor and CRC Sydenham are the first schools to be part of this new program, which aims to strengthen football pathways and provide greater opportunities via a unique pathway for aspiring student athletes in Melbourne’s west.
The partnership will see Bulldogs staff work alongside the schools to support the development of its football academy curriculum with a focus on football craft, enhancing athletic development, supporting wellbeing and providing exposure to careers within the sporting industry.
Bulldogs Head of Development Luke Power highlighted the value of connecting students to elite environments.
“This program is about opening doors for young people and giving them the chance to grow, both as athletes and as people,” Power said.
“We want students to experience what a high-performance environment looks and feels like, while also highlighting the many different pathways and opportunities that exist within our game and Club.
“CRC North Keilor and CRC Sydenham share our focus on development, wellbeing and education, so together we can create an environment where students feel supported to pursue their goals both on thefield and off it.”
Rudy Ramos, CRC North Keilor Head of Sports Academy, said the partnership represents a defining moment for the future of its student athletes.
