The Western Bulldogs have revealed their 2026 AFLW Pride guernsey designed by Chelsea Adamson, a proud Wotjobaluk and LGBTQIA+ woman from Wergaia country.

The 2026 design is inspired by Rainbow Mob, celebrating the intersection of First Nations and LGBTQIA+ identities.

Adamson (she/they) has been a loyal Bulldogs supporter her whole life and jumped at the opportunity to design the Club’s 10th Pride guernsey.

“Rainbow Mob is so often looked over, and as a proud Aboriginal woman in the LGBTQIA+ community, I wanted to bring these two worlds together,” Adamson said.

“Bringing in the culture of traditional Aboriginal artwork with the Pride rainbow colours creates awareness for the minority within a minority on a massive platform, which is unbelievable to my community.

“Coming out isn’t a linear experience, while living out and proud in the LGBTQIA+ community isn’t linear either.

“I wanted to show that experience in a reimagining of the classic Bulldogs hoops and by showcasing rainbow colours in traditional Aboriginal style art.”

The symbols for man, woman and person are also represented throughout the design, as well as the symbol for meeting place.

The Dogs will wear the guernsey across the next fortnight, including this Friday’s marquee Pride match against Essendon at Mission Whitten Oval and next Saturday’s meeting with Carlton.

The inaugural Pride Game was established by the Bulldogs and Carlton in 2018 and has since evolved into a league-wide round dedicated to celebrating diversity and inclusion while supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.

The Dogs-Dons marquee Pride Round match at Mission Whitten Oval will start at 7:15pm AEDT on Friday. Tickets are available here.

The 2026 Pride guernsey, as well as ‘Footy Is For Everyone’ t-shirts, are available exclusively at the Bulldogs Shop.
