The Western Bulldogs have had three representatives selected for next week’s State of Origin for Bushfire Relief match.

All Australian midfielders Marcus Bontempelli and Jack Macrae have been named in Victoria’s team, with rebounding defender Jason Johannisen picked in the All Stars team.

The match will be played on Friday 28 February at Marvel Stadium, at 7.50pm AEDT.

Johannisen joins Bulldogs’ assistant coach Joel Corey at the All Stars, after he was named of one of John Longmire’s assistants on Monday.

Each team features 27 players, with both to play with an extended interchange bench.

Every AFL club has at least one representative, with the Bulldogs one of four teams to have three, alongside Hawthorn, North Melbourne and Sydney. Grand finalists Richmond and GWS Giants have the most, with six each.

Team captains will be confirmed closer to the match.

All proceeds from tickets sales and any additional donations will go into a Community Relief Fund set up by the AFL to support the local communities in fire affected areas to repair and rebuild their football clubs, including helping footballing families in these impacted communities.

Tickets are now available through Ticketmaster, starting at $10 for juniors and $20 for adults/concession.
