VFLW Report | Round 5

VFLW Bulldogs have suffered their fourth loss of the 2021 season.

The VFLW Bulldogs have suffered their fourth loss of the 2021 season, kept goalless by Geelong in their round five clash at VU Whitten Oval on Saturday afternoon.

Despite the hosts having three quick scoring shots within the first three minutes of play and plenty of the ball early in the opening term, it was all Geelong after quarter-time.

Only two goals down at the main break, the Bulldogs tried to turn things around in the second-half but just couldn’t get going.

AFLW Bulldog Bailey Hunt made her presence known, while second-year Pup Issy Grant continues to grow.

Captain Riley Christgoergl did her best in trying conditions.

The VFLW Bulldogs will look to bounce back on Saturday 10 April when they travel to ETU Stadium to take on Port Melbourne.
