At least two changes will be made for Sunday’s clash with Fremantle at Marvel Stadium.

As announced by senior coach Luke Beveridge on Wednesday, father-son draftee Rhylee West will make his AFL debut and premiership Bulldog Dale Morris will return for his first AFL game of 2019.

West, 19, has forced his way into the senior side on the back of strong form at VFL level as a midfielder-forward over the course of the season.

He was best afield for Footscray in last week’s win against Sandringham.

After suffering an ACL injury during pre-season for the second consecutive year, fan favourite Morris will make a remarkable return to AFL level on the back of four strong matches in the VFL.

The Bulldogs have confirmed two players from last week’s side will miss through injury.

WEST: IT CAME AS A SURPRISE

Key forward Josh Schache has not recovered in time from the concussion he sustained in Sunday’s loss to St Kilda, while Matt Suckling is out with a back injury.

Ed Richards, Will Hayes, Bailey Williams and yet-to-debut ruckman Jordon Sweet have all been named on an extended bench.

The squad of 26 will be reduced to a team of 22 at 5pm on Friday.
