Sam Darcy joined the Club as the second overall selection in the 2021 AFL National Draft as a father-son selection. The key forward becomes a third generation Bulldog, after father Luke and Grandfather David both represented the Club. The 205cm giant was impressive throughout Vic Metro fixtures, kicking six goals in an U19s trial game. Darcy averaged 16 touches, 6 marks and six hit outs in his three NAB League outings.
