Rory Lobb arrived at the Kennel in the final moments of the 2022 AFL Trade Period. The key forward/ruck will add significant scoring power to the Dogs’ emerging forward line, coming off a career-best season for the Dockers in 2022. He booted 36 goals from 21 games, adding to his total 140 matches so far after a stint with GWS (2014-18) before moving to Fremantle. At the conclusion of the 2022 season, Lobb was traded to the Western Bulldogs from Fremantle in exchange for the club's round two selection (30) and a future second round pick.
