The AFL along with Toyota will present the 2021 Toyota AFL Grand Final Open Training at Optus Stadium this Friday, 24 September from 9.30am at Optus Stadium. 

Local fans will have the opportunity to watch both the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne go through their paces one last time before the 2021 Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday. 
 
This session will be the Western Bulldogs’ ‘Captains run,’ a brief opportunity for the team to stretch their legs on Optus Stadium and reacquaint themselves with the venue. 
 
Up to 25,000 fans will have the chance to attend this session, by redeeming a free ticket from Ticketmaster.

Each club’s traditional ‘Captains run’ training session will run approx. 30-45mins each and fans will hear directly from representatives of each club with in-stadium interviews. Food and beverage outlets will also be open.

 
Tickets for the event will be made available for redemption via Ticketmaster from 12pm AWST (Perth time) on Tuesday 21 September.

The maximum number of free tickets per transaction is capped six (6). 

Free Public Transport will be included with the ticket. Trains will be stopping at Stadium Station however no suburban buses will be running to the event. See the Transperth website for further information.

9.30am - Gates open & fan content begins

10.30am - 11.30am - Melbourne training (approx.)

11:30am - 12:00pm  - Fan content

12:00pm - 1:00pm Western Bulldogs Captain's Run (approx.)

1:00pm  - Event Concludes
